Certification for Ingredients Safety and Authentication

DNA Sequence SRL is a biotechnology company that provides full scale and personalized solutions utilizing cutting edge technologies. According to this, Swiss Approval will be issuing the Comliance Certification and/or the «Ingredients Authentication Approval» and «Ingredients Biosafety Approval» certifications, regarding the monitoring of the products, following the samples control that will take place by the highly qualified personnel of DNA Sequence SRL, and the laboratory results provided to the Swiss Approval Certification Authority.

Days of Art in Greece is the one magazine presenting the true benefits of the country and keeps rewarding every effort that promotes original creation within the society. In its latest edition, DNA Sequence SRL has its own place, in order to showcase its technical know-how and solutions for the sector of Art and Archaeology. DNA Sequence SRL is a biotech company aiming to embed the DNA technology in business practices. The company provides integrated and personalized solutions using cutting edge technology. New technologies offer, among others, the ability to record the biodiversity in the area of art and archaeology, offering genetic information in the global heritage. In the article that is signed by the co-founder and company CEO Mr. Antonios Salakidis, it is described in prose, the application of biotechnology in our lives and the DNA sequencing methodology, which allows the spotting of dangerous agents and the definition of the diversity of microorganisms that inhabit the works of art, something that has significant impact in their restoration and maintenance. The technology that DNA Sequence SRL utilizes is Metagenomics of Built Environments (ΜΒΑ). This technology allows the definition of the total microbes of a sample and forms a total solution of identifying the pathogenic microbiotic elements of an environment, without the need of special testing for expected or well characterized pathogens. The sampling method is non evasive and can be applied to gas, liquid and solid surfaces. DNA Sequence SRL offers solutions of automated sampling procedures with on premises devices.

DNASequence SRL Hellas completed successfully the project awarded by INTRAKAT ΑΕΤΕ

DNASequence SRL Hellas completed successfully the project awarded by INTRAKAT ΑΕΤΕ regarding the study and report generation of the microbiotic load of the Ellinikon construction site. DNASequence SRL Hellas, is a company active in the biotechnology sector and the development of pioneering and innovative solutions based on the metagenomic technologies. The project materialization started with the successful sample gathering of 60 samples from various areas of the construction site, reaching sample depths of 4 meters (Jun 30th, 2020 and July 1st, 2020) Sampling gathering included the accumulation of soil from specific spots for the purpose of metagenomic analysis of the microbiotic environment and possible microbiotic pollution. The analysis procedure of the 60 samples was based on the metagenomic technology 16S rRNA, that is an important tool for the attribution of the microbiotic environment in the soil. The approach through 16S rRNA  technology, offers increased sensitivity compared to the current technological alternatives. The main advantage of the project is that the full recording of the microbiotic environments was completed before any intervention, through Next Generation Sequencing technology. This approach offers the advantage of creating a biological index for the pollution possibility, caused by human intervention, through monitoring. Additionally, it offers the possibility of monitoring the effectiveness of any interventions scheduled in the future. For this specific project, DNA Sequence collaborated with the Chemical Engineering school of NTUA, achieving the combination of the chemical analysis of the samples along with the microbiotic environments, a process that was included in the deliverables. Antonios Salakidis, General Manager of DNASequence, extended his gratitude to INTRAKAT for the trust that it showed in awarding DNASequence  with such an innovative project. This is the first private sector project that metagenomic technologies have been implemented by a construction company of Greece. He also expressed his gratitude for NTUA and Prof. Antonia Moropoulou for the immaculate collaboration throughout the project cycle.

Funding approved for DNASequence Hellas

We are excited to announce that DNASequence Hellas is among the companies that are included in the funding through the EU co-funded program of Research-Create-Innovate. The funding regards the program: Monitoring and Tracing of authentic materials, allergenics and pathogens, in high value nutritional products with new methods of metagenomic analysis. This is another stepping stone strengthening our efforts towards achieving technical and commercial excellence, as well as establishing DNASequence Hellas as one of the pioneering biotechnology companies in Europe and beyond. DNASequence Hellas SRL is a Biotechnology startup that develops innovative and pioneering solutions based on metagenomic technologies. The company’s solutions are addressed to corporations and governmental organizations, covering a vast field of applications like biosecuitity, food safety, Microbiology of Built Environments, environmental metagenomics and agrigenomics. DNAsequence has the pleasure to announce that reached an agreement with Bewise for the development of their CRM and ERP systems, basedn on Microsoft Dynamics suite of business solutions, specifically: Dynamics 365, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps and Sharepoint. Our company’s target is to secure the business flow and continuity within a managed, end to end digital and secure business environment. After months of research we reached the decision of this business partner. The main reasons for our decision are the enthusiasm, agility and the correct grasping of DNASequence vision. The project delivery starts immediately and is planned to be complete within the next 1.5 months. Starting off with this project, our aim is to further expand the cooperation with Bewise in other fields so that they design and develop our Operational Management, so we can focus solely on innovation and solutions production.
