New collaboration for DNASequence SRL, with Prof. Ioannis Liritzis

DNASequence SRL is pleased to announce the scientific collaboration with Prof. Ioannis Liritzis, in the subject of Archeogene. Archaeogene offers the archeologists a unique tool that gives them valuable insights into the era their research is focused, further deepen their knowledge on archeological findings and how to preserve them.

Prof. Ioannis Liritzis is professor of archaeometry-natural sciences at the University of the Aegean, and Visiting Distinguished Professor at the University of Henan, China (www.huaxiahellas.com). He directs the Laboratory of Archaeometry (he founded in 1999) Director-Coordinator of the Kastrouli Mycenean Settlement archaeological-archaeometrical Project, Member of the European Academy of Sciences & Arts; Corresponding Member of the Academie des Sciences, Arts & Belles Lettres, Dijon, France; Honorary & Guest Professor of Samara State Institute of Culture, Russia; Honorary Fellow Edinburgh University, Honorary Professor Rhodes University, South Africa. His prior career includes the Greek Ministry of Culture (1984–1989) and the Academy of Athens (1989–1999). He is president of the International Delphic Academy (Berlin). His current research interests include: geoarchaeology, bioarchaeology, archaeometry & sustainability, archaeoastronomy.
